Marilyn Monroe catwoman was the very first piece that launched Angel London’s art into London gallery’s.
Marilyn Monroe catwoman was created with Charcoal, chalk & conté pencil on MDF retro Monroe, based on the first catwoman Julie Newmar, who played the villain on the TV show "Batman" from 1966 to 1967.
This mixed media digital art fusion with charcoal was a a half hearted experiment with his neglected with tee shirt heat press at high temperature, by transferring Marilyn Monroes image onto large 6mm medium density fibre wood (MDF) and the mask is hand created/ finished with charcoal to beautifully contour this iconic image, inspired by Andy Warhol.
